    DOCTORAL CANDIDATE IN HEALTH AND REHABILITATION SCIENCES (HEALTH PROMOTION)
    WESTERN UNIVERSITY, CANADA

    Olayinka has a background in public health from the University of Central Lancashire, Preston, UK. Her research interests include women's homelessness, child separation in homelessness, and housing issues among marginalized groups.

    PROGRAM COORDINATOR RUFF INSTITUTE OF GLOBAL HOMELESSNESS

    Tiffany is passionate about progression, collaboration, and knowledge exchange. Through her work, she supports IGH’s efforts to achieve individual and team goals; organize and facilitate collaborations, projects, and convenings; and curate and share useful information, tools, and resources on homelessness and intersectionality. She also supports IGH’s effort to achieve its diversity, equity, and inclusion mission.

    Based in Calgary, Canada, Nick is the President of Nick Falvo Consulting. He has academic affiliations at both Carleton University and Case Western Reserve University.

  • Abe Oudshoorn RN, PhD

    ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR AND ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR IN THE SCHOOL OF NURSING AT WESTERN UNIVERSITY AND THE ARTHUR LABATT FAMILY CHAIR IN NURSING LEADERSHIP IN HEALTH EQUITY

    Having worked as a nurse with people experiencing homelessness in London, Dr. Oudshoorn’s research focuses on health equity, housing, and homelessness. Dr. Oudshoorn is an Associate Scientist with the Lawson Health Research Institute and Managing Editor of the International Journal on Homelessness.

  • Amy Kleine

    SENIOR PROGRAM DIRECTOR THE HARRY AND JEANETTE WEINBERG FOUNDATION

    Amy Kleine oversees the Weinberg Foundation’s work focused on housing to advance the goals of creating new housing opportunities and maintaining housing stability for older adults, people experiencing homelessness, people with disabilities, veterans, and other vulnerable populations. Ms. Kleine partners with nonprofit organizations on capital, program, and operating grants to implement this important work.

    Ms. Kleine launched and co-chairs the Baltimore network of Funders Together to End Homelessness and represents the Foundation in Funders for Housing and Opportunity, a collaborative to improve outcomes for precariously housed renters.

  • Lydia Stazen

    EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR RUFF INSTITUTE OF GLOBAL HOMELESSNESS

    Lydia has held executive leadership roles in anti-poverty organizations across the Midwest, focusing on housing, employment, education, and policy advocacy. Her expertise spans systems change, collective impact, fundraising, communications and marketing, program design, outcomes and data tracking and analysis, nonprofit management, government administration, executive search, and more. She was a “Greater Good” fellow at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management in 2015, holds a Masters in Public Policy, and is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE).

  • Veronica Dykstra

    DEPAUL UNIVERSITY

    Veronica is a senior in the School of Hospitality Leadership at DePaul University studying Hospitality Leadership at an undergrad and graduate level. She is serving as a conference planning intern for the IJOH Conference Committee this year. Veronica has 6 years of combined experience in the hospitality industry with skill sets specific to the hotel, live events, restaurant and event planning segments as well as experience with student organizations and community groups. She is looking to continue her career development following graduation with an events company that specializes in conventions or conferences or with a hotel in operations.
